Print the network configuration page
This one-page report tells you the printer's IP address, signal strength, and whether it's actually on your network. It's the first thing support asks for.
01 · Identify — does this match what you see?
- You need the printer's IP address for setup
- Connection works but you can't find the printer by name
- You want to confirm signal strength
02 · Resolve — follow in order
- 1
Load plain paper in the tray.
- 2
On the panel, press Menu (or Settings) → Print Reports → Network Configuration (or Network Config).
- 3
Press Start (or OK on a touchscreen) to print.
- 4
On the printed sheet, find “IP Address” under IP Settings — note it for the driver or app.
- 5
Check “Signal Strength” near the bottom: Excellent/Good is fine; Weak means move the printer closer to the router.
Pro tip
If the IP starts with 169.254.x.x, the printer failed to get an address from your router (APIPA). Restart the router, then the printer, and reprint.
