Fix crooked or skewed printing
Skewed output means the sheet enters at an angle — nearly always a paper guide or loading issue.
01 · Identify — does this match what you see?
- Text slants across the page
- Margins uneven left to right
- Photos crop off one edge
02 · Resolve — follow in order
- 1
Remove the paper and square the stack.
- 2
Slide both guides in until they touch the paper without bending it.
- 3
Load fewer sheets — a tall stack tilts as it feeds.
- 4
Check the tray sits level and the printer is on a flat surface.
- 5
Run the print head alignment from the maintenance menu once the paper feeds straight.
Pro tip
If only one guide moves on your model, load paper to the fixed side first, then bring the moving guide in.
