Print photos without white borders

Borderless printing needs both a supported paper size and the borderless checkbox in the driver.

01 · Identify — does this match what you see?

  • Thin white edge on photo prints
  • Borderless option unavailable
  • Image crops too much

02 · Resolve — follow in order

  1. 1

Choose a supported borderless size such as 4x6, 5x7, or A4 photo paper.

  2. 2

Tick Borderless Printing in the print dialog page setup section.

  3. 3

Set the media type to the exact photo paper you loaded.

  4. 4

Adjust the amount of extension if the image is cropping too tightly.

  5. 5

Print one test photo before a batch.

Pro tip

Borderless prints extend slightly past the paper edge by design — keep important detail away from the very border.
