Clean the paper feed rollers

01 · Identify — does this match what you see?

• Repeated no-paper errors with paper loaded
• Grey smears along the page edge
• Loud grinding at feed time

02 · Resolve — follow in order

1. 1

   Remove all paper from the tray you want to clean.

2. 2

   Open Maintenance and choose Roller Cleaning, then pick the rear tray or cassette.

3. 3

   Let it run with no paper — the rollers spin dry to shed dust.

4. 4

   When prompted, load three sheets of plain paper and run the routine again; the sheets pick up remaining grime.

5. 5

   Repeat once if the sheets came out visibly dirty.
