When and how to run Epson cleaning cycles
Head cleaning fixes clogs but drinks ink. Knowing when to clean — and when to wait — saves a lot of ink over the printer's life.

02 · Resolve — follow in order

Always start with a Nozzle Check — only clean if the pattern actually shows gaps.

Run one cleaning, then check again. Clean in pairs at most, three cycles absolute maximum per session.

If three cycles don't fix it, stop. Let the printer sit 6–12 hours; dried ink often softens on its own.
