Fix an Epson that won't turn on

01 · Identify — does this match what you see?

• Power button does nothing
• No lights or display at all
• Stopped after a power outage or move

02 · Resolve — follow in order

   Try a different wall outlet directly — skip power strips and extension cords for the test.

2. 2

   Unplug the cord from both wall and printer, wait 10 minutes, then reconnect firmly at both ends.

3. 3

   Hold the power button for 30 seconds while unplugged to drain residual charge, then plug in and try again.

4. 4

   Check the cord for kinks or damage; Epson external power cords are replaceable.

5. 5

   If there's still no sign of life, the internal power supply has likely failed — contact Epson support.
