Clear the 1700 ink absorber warning

01 · Identify — does this match what you see?

• “1700” or “Ink absorber almost full”
• Warning appears at the start of each job

02 · Resolve — follow in order

1. 1

   Read the on-screen message fully — it normally offers an OK or Resume option.

2. 2

   Press and hold the Stop/Resume button for about five seconds to acknowledge and continue.

3. 3

   Reduce deep cleaning cycles from here on; each one adds to the absorber.

4. 4

   Plan a service visit before the warning becomes a hard 5B00 stop.

5. 5

   Keep printing normally in the meantime — quality is unaffected.
