Reset the printer's network settings

A clean start for Wi-Fi when the printer keeps dropping off and nothing else helped.

01 · Identify — does this match what you see?

  • Connects then drops daily
  • Wrong network saved after moving house
  • Setup wizard fails repeatedly

02 · Resolve — follow in order

  1. 1

Print the network settings page first so you have a record of the current values.

  2. 2

Open Setup → Device settings → Reset setting → LAN settings only. Do not choose Reset all.

  3. 3

Confirm, then wait for the printer to restart.

  4. 4

Run the wireless setup wizard again and pick your network and password.

  5. 5

Print another network page and confirm the printer has an IP address.

Pro tip

Reset LAN settings only — a full reset also wipes paper settings and the ink counters you rely on.
